Obituary:  Margaret E. SEELY
     Services for Margaret E. Seely, who died Friday in a local nursing home, will be 11 a.m., Monday in Young’s Funeral Home. Mrs. Seely, who was 93, was a resident of Tualatin. She was born in Nebraska and came to Oregon in a covered wagon before the turn of the century.  She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
     Survivors include two sons, Lloyd of Newberg and Walter of Tigard; two brothers, Bob Barnes of Taft and Bill Barnes of Glendale, Calif.; two sisters, Edith Thornebrue of Cutler City and Mattie Thornebrue of Tualatin; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Obituary: 
MARK SEELY
Mark Seely was born October 7, 1875, at the farm home near Mulloy, where he grew to manhood.  He was the second son of Bem and Mary Seely.
     In October, 1901, he was united in marriage with Lucy Stone Todd.  To this union five daughters were born.  His wife and daughter Ruth preceded him in death.
     He passed away while asleep early in the morning on March 19, 1939, at the home of his daughter near Tigard.  At the time of his decease he was 63 years, 5 months and 12 days of age.
     Left to mourn his passing are four daughters:  Lubelle Scheerling, Tigard; Georgia Heimbach, Sheridan; Hazel Weaver, Salem; Helen Heck, Tule Lake, Calif.; three grandchildren:  Arnold Mark Heimbach, Shirley and Florence Heck; three brothers:  Fred and Edd, of Sherwood, and Arthur of Wilsonville; four sisters:  Arabelle Bahler, of Bandon, Alpha Krause, Pearl Snyder and Roma Murray, of Sherwood; besides many other relatives and a host of friends.

Mrs. J. B. Seely, 79, an old resident of the Wilsonville community, died Tuesday, January 5, at Convalescent Hospital, Gladstone.  Survivors are Fred Seely and Arthur Seely, Wilsonville; Eddie Seely, Paradise, Calif.; Mrs. A. Kotovsky, North Bend, Ore.; Mrs. H. C. Krause, Mrs. J. C. Snyder, and Mrs. George Murray, all of Sherwood.
     Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Hollingsworth chapel, Newberg.  Interment will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Obituary:  Services Held For Pearl E. Seely
SHERWOOD – Funeral for Mrs. Pearl E. Seely was held in the Mannenbach's Sherwood Chapel Monday, Jan. 4 with the Rev. Hugh Tattersall, pastor of the Wilsonville Methodist church officiating. Vault interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery, under the direction of Mannenbach's Funeral chapel.
       Mrs. Seely was born Pearl Tewksbury in Kansas City, Mo., November 1883 and died in the Newberg Community hospital December 31 following an illness of three days.  She was married to Arthur Seely in the Hood View church on Parrett Mountain November 12, 1901 and made her home in the Wilsonville community for 63 years.
       Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Mae) Battalgia of Gaston, and Mrs. Frank (Vida) Oldenstadt of Sherwood; a son, Lyle F. Seely, Prairie City, Ore., a sister, Mrs. Blanche Gronke of Salem; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

OREGON CITY, Or., May 12. – (Special) – Raymond B. Seely, prominent dairyman of Clackamas county, died last night at his home at Wilsonville, after two weeks’ illness.
    
Mr. Seely was born at Wilsonville, September 28, 1899. Mr. Seely was graduated from the Oregon Agricultural college at Corvallis. Surviving are his widow, a son, Ward, a daughter, Marjorie of Wilsonville; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Seely of Woodburn, four brothers, Bert, Blaine and Ralph Seely of Woodburn, and Charles Seely of Turner, Wash., and two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Larson of Woodburn and Mrs. Mabel Brobst of Wilsonville.

OREGON
CITY, Or., May 14. – (Special) – More than 400 persons today attended the funeral services for Raymond C. Seely, prominent Jersey breeder and farmer at Wilsonville. The services, held at the Methodist church, were conducted by Rev. Barbur, of Forest Grove, assisted by Henry Cross, an old-time friend of the family.
     Many who were unable to gain entrance to the church, attended the last rites at Hood View cemetery, where interment took place in the family lot. Oddfellows lodge of Wilsonville, of which Mr. Seely was a member, conducted the burial services.

Robert Ira Seely passed away at his home Sunday evening.  He had spent his entire lifetime on the farm on which he was born in a log cabin December 26, 1859, the son of Lucius A. and Sophia Seely.  Surviving are the widow Nettie; seven children – Cora Cuthill, Edna Boeckmann, Jasper M. Seely, Milton J. Seely, Inez Wheaton, Dora Alsop and Chester W. Seely; one brother, J. L. Seely. 
     He was a member of Wilsonville M. E. church in which funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Willard H. Pope, of Calvary Tabernacle, Portland, officiating.  Interment was in the family lot in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
