Charlotte Lehan, Webmaster
A descendent of seven generations of residents of Pleasant View Cemetery, Charlotte is a past Clackamas County Commissioner and past mayor of the City of Wilsonville.  She has long been interested in seeing this piece of pioneer history restored and preserved.  If you can help with additional material, research, or have questions about monument care or restoration, she would love to hear from you.  She can be contacted through this website or you can call her at 503-313-8040.
Julie Edy, Cemetery Sexton

Oregon Historic Cemeteries Association  The OHCA is an association of cemetery advocates from around the state.  The OHCA site includes lots of information and resources for cemetery work and research.  Find out about current state programs that are in place to protect Oregon pioneer cemeteries through the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
Association for Gravestone Studies  The AGS is an international non-profit organization that advocates for the study and preservation of gravestones and burial grounds.  One of the best sources for the latest best practices in stone conservation.

Salem Pioneer Cemetery This website is one of the best examples of a fully accessible archive for a pioneer cemetery with an active organization.  If you are submitting additional information about family members, visit this site for ideas on the kinds of information and sources to include.
Civil War Soldier Lists  This site is part of the National Park Service and is a place to look up individuals to verify service in the Civil War. 
Oregon Pioneers  Here is a site with lots of information and lists of individuals who crossed on the Oregon Trail.  You may be able to confirm pioneer status and crossing dates here from the emigrant lists. 
OPB Timeline of Events in the West This site was suggested by students in an after school program in Apple Creek, Ohio who were researching Western settlement.  It is a detailed timeline by the decades that can help put genealogic research in perspective.
