important to the history of any individuals in the
cemetery please email them to the link above. If you
have an obituary you can enter it completely or scan it
and email it. Mention the paper and date if you know
where it was published. If you know other biographical
information or the relationship of this individual to
others in the cemetery, mention that as well. Please
also mention if you know this person was a war veteran,
a pioneer, or a person of local historical note. If you
have a photo you would like posted of this person or
persons, email a digital copy with identifying
information.

Charlotte Lehan, Webmaster
A descendent of
seven generations of residents of Pleasant View
Cemetery, Charlotte is a Clackamas County Commissioner
and a past mayor of the City
of Wilsonville. She has long been interested in seeing
this piece of pioneer history restored and preserved.

as sexton of the cemetery after long-time caretaker, Joe
Taylor, was no longer able to attend to it. She is

The OHCA is an association of cemetery advocates from
around the state. The OHCA site includes lots of
information and resources for cemetery work and
research. Find out about
current state programs that are in place to protect
Oregon pioneer cemeteries through the Oregon Parks and
Recreation Department. |

Hillsboro, Oregon, Oregon Memorials is one of several
memorial stone companies in the Portland area.
Most of our monument restoration work has been done by
them. If you need to order a marker or add
additional text to an existing stone this is a good
place to start for information and ideas regarding
monuments.
